About

Hi, I'm Ekta.

I'm a mum, a certified dance and Zumba instructor, and a yoga and Tai Chi coach. At 40, turning 41 this November, I'm living proof that it is never too late to feel like yourself again.

I teach a small morning group near home in Noida, and now, online, people anywhere in the world. My whole aim is simple: help you move gently, every single day, and never do it alone.

Ekta, my journey

My daughter was born in 2020. I stopped working and stayed home, and like a lot of new mums, I slowly lost myself in it. The days blurred together. My weight crept up, my energy dropped, and some days just felt flat and long.

About a year ago, I decided that was enough. I started moving a little every day, yoga first, and built a simple routine with a proper diet. Over the months, I lost almost 20 kilos. But honestly, the number mattered far less than how I felt: lighter, calmer, awake again. Like me.

Here is the real secret, and it is not a secret at all: it was never one big push. It was showing up every single morning, and doing it with other people. On the days I did not feel like it, the group carried me along. That is what kept me consistent.

So I started free classes for my neighbours in our society, to help them stay consistent too. It woke up a part of me I had set aside. I used to teach Zumba and dance, and that love came right back. Along the way I found Tai Chi, and it became the one I love most: gentle, grounding, and something you can truly do every single day.

That is why these classes, and this little community, exist, so you never have to do it alone. Consistency is so much easier together. If a big change in life has left you feeling tired or behind, you are not behind at all. You just need a gentle start, every morning, with people beside you.

This is my own journey, everyone's body and life are different, so I never promise a number. What I do promise is to help you show up, every morning.

A message from me to you

If you are a mother who poured everything into everyone else and somewhere along the way misplaced herself, I see you. I was you.

And if you are in your fifties, sixties, seventies and quietly wondering whether it is too late to feel strong and steady again, it is not. I promise you, it is not.

I am forty, turning forty-one this November, and I feel better in my body and calmer in my mind than I did in my twenties. Not because of anything dramatic. Only because I moved a little, every single morning, and I did not do it alone.

You do not need to be flexible. You do not need to be fit. You do not need to "get in shape" first. You only need to show up, gently and slowly, and let a few good people hold you to it.

That is all this is. A quiet morning, a few breaths, kind company, every day. Come exactly as you are. I will be right here at 8.

Ekta

With love, see you at 8.
